Contemplation Centre
A place for reflection in a lovely environment. For those who want to withdraw a while from the daily hassle of life. We like to offer our guests a good atmosphere and a place to feel at home.
Haus Parzival, the former Hotel Niesenblick has been started by Hans Hiltjo Vet and Ria Hennink. Hans is an architect and he studied Business Administration in the Netherlands. Ria studied Arabic language and literature and she workes as cultural attaché in Berne. Hans and Ria always had the dream to start a spiritual center. This dream was realized in 2005.
As a contemplation centre Haus Parzival is the ideal place for groups who like to work in the fields of spirituality, yoga, meditation and reteats.
Haus Parzival is the right place when you look for a possibility to contemplate on the essential things in life; when you like to walk in the mountains and when you like a house where you can meet people who share your ideas.
The house is only used for contemplative activities and that creates a special atmosphere that supports group work. The house is only rented to one group at a time (up to a maximum of 20 persons). The house has become a "home" for several groups in the last few years.
The romantic house lies at the entrance of the Kiental, with its almost unique alpine landscape, mountains, waterfalls and wild flowers is a source of power for the guests.
SEMINAR ROOMS : PANORAMA, NIESEN and CHALET
The Panorama seminar room with its super panorama view and a grand piano is suitable for groups up to 20 people. Next to the Panorama room lies the Niesen seminar room and the Chalet seminar room, suitable to "enlarge" the seminar room for example for yoga groups.
Guest rooms
Every room has a wash-basin. There are showes and toilets on each floor.
There are 3 rooms with 1 bed; 7 rooms with 2 beds; 2 rooms with 3 beds. In total there are 20 beds, some of them in a seperate appartment.
KITCHEN
The large kitchen has three cookers, four refrigerators and a dishwasher. The dining/living room with panorama view on the terrace and the mountains can be used to enjoy the meals. Here the guests can enjoy the sunny hours during the whole year.
MEALS
The meals can be prepared by the guests or by a specially hired cook. The cooks use ecological ingredients for the meals. There are some restaurants in the villages Scharnachtal (www.gasthof-engelberg.ch), Kiental, Mülenen and Reichenbach.
LIBRARY
There is a small library with books about anthroposophy, philosophy and art.
EXTRA'S
Our guests like a non smoking house. Pets cannot be allowed. Patsy and Twinkle would not like it.

Prices per person, without breakfast, exclusive Tourist Tax (CHF 1,80), use of kitchen, living/dining room, parking place
For groups!
Single room CHF 48,- to CHF 72,-
Double room CHF 42,- to CHF 48,-
Rooms with 3 beds CHF 40,-
For small groups only the first floor is used. For larger groups also the second floor and the appartment will be used.
With a stay of less than 2 nights CHF 7,50 per person comes on the price.
Cleaning costs CHF 75,-
